I’m not a Member, where can I sign up?
You can sign up here or email us at support@drawingandtalking.com for a payment link or invoice, once paid or the invoice is raised, we will email you with how to activate your account
Do I have to do the Review Your Practice course?
No, however, it is highly recommended you do this course once a year
What happens if I don’t renew my membership?
You will lose access to the Membership Area and its benefits. You will no longer be shown and evidenced on our public practitioner register as a Drawing and Talking Practitioner.
Can I still deliver Drawing and Talking if I’m not a member?
Whilst you can still deliver Drawing and Talking, Practitioners’ status will not be accredited. We intend to ensure and promote best practices and safeguarding.
What are the benefits of having a membership?
Membership includes access to our Review Your Practice course, as well as discounts on additional Mental Health Hub and Drawing and Talking courses. It includes masterclasses, on-demand and live group coaching calls and one-to-one coaching calls. All of which will support you in your CPD.
Can I get a year’s Membership if I book the Advanced Course?
No. Membership is not included in the Advanced Course, but as a Member, you are entitled to a discount on this course.
Are both the Advanced and Foundation Review Your Practice included?
Yes, if you have completed the Advanced course, we recommend doing both the Foundation and Advanced Review Your Practice once a year.
I’ve been a Drawing and Talking Practitioner for years, why are you now making this compulsory?
Our membership is designed to ensure best practices and provide consistency across the country. We have trained over 40,000 Practitioners over our 20-year history – although our training remains true to its origin, the practice has been developed in line with changes in industry best practice and new knowledge regarding theory that underpins this work.

How can I cancel my Membership? Is there a cancellation policy?
Invoices will be automatically generated unless Drawing and Talking is given 30 days' notice of cancellation before the next billing date. To cancel your Membership, please email support@drawingandtalking.com

Can we have a school membership?
No, each Practitioner will be charged separately, this is due to each person receiving the same number of benefits.
You mentioned a public Practitioner register, what information will be included on this?
Your last name, Unique Membership Number, date it is due to expire, and your accreditation
I am a school; can I include this in our communications?
Yes – if you have a Member in your school, you can use our badge – download here.
I have left my job, can I continue my Membership?
Your Membership will continue for 12 months after renewal or activation. To change your email address and place of work (recommended) you can update it on your profile page or email us at support@drawingandtalking.com

How do I log my CPD?

Can I include non-Drawing and Talking courses in my CPD for Drawing and Talking?
Yes, if it is relevant to your Drawing and Talking practice.
Do I need to be on the Practitioner register?
No, however, we recommend being added for safeguarding and best practice purposes. If you would like your data annonymised please email us on support@drawingandtalking.com
Is Membership included in the Independent Practitioner Programme?
No, however, you can receive a discount on the Independent Practitioner Programme if you are a Member.
