How would you describe Drawing and Talking in its simplest terms?

A method where YOUR imagery leads the conversation.

Why are you so passionate about Drawing and Talking?

I believe we under-value the power of non-verbal communications and that D&T can improve our sense of well-being and emotional growth.

What is the age range you work with?

6 – 96

What areas of emotional wellbeing do you most connect with and are passionate about supporting?

Bereavement, isolation, addiction

How has COVID impacted the mental wellbeing of the families in these areas?

Covid has both ignited and exacerbated feelings of fear and isolation amongst some in the community.

Whilst using Drawing and Talking, what is your greatest success story?

Spotting the power of a worrying image drawn by a young child during a wet playtime.  That non-verbal comms led to third party intervention which continues years later after that spot.  That was the beginning of D&T for me.
